About

The Scoop Review of Books is a web-based book review project based in Wellington, New Zealand.

In time we’re confident the SRB will become the first port of call for anyone wanting thoughtful commentary on New Zealand books.

All our reviews include links to reviews of the same work in other publications and, where we can find them, author interviews.

But we’re also committed to reviewing a selection of the many important books that fail to get a look-in in the mainstream press – as well as providing a different take on works by big name authors.

If you or anyone you know would be keen to help out with reviews and/or interviews we’d love to hear from you.

Copyright of all reviews and articles remain with the authors. The Scoop Review of Books is happy to negotiate re-publication rights for material appearing on this site.

Publishers are encourged to send review copies to: 124 Sutherland Rd, Melrose, Wellington, New Zealand.
